2 Easy Homemade Dog Treats

It can be hard to ignore the puppy dog eyes when your pup wants something that you’re eating. However, not all foods that humans eat are safe for dogs. Making treats for your dog at home can be a good way to satisfy their cravings for something homemade while making sure that they eat ingredients that are safe and healthy for them. Check out these two recipes for easy dog treats that you can make at home!
Recipe #1: Frozen Berry Treats For Dogs
This recipe combines dog safe bone broth with some dog safe fruits to create an icy treat that your pup will love. Perfect for those hot summer days, or anytime that your pup has a craving for something cold.
Ingredients:
Strawberries (chopped small)
Blueberries
Water
Dog Safe Bone Broth
Directions:
Fill a small, freezer safe silicone mold with dog safe bone broth, water, chopped strawberries, and blueberries. Freeze for a few hours until solid.
Recipe #2: Peanut Butter Yogurt Bites For Dogs
This recipe pairs Trader Joe’s Goat Milk Kefir with dog safe peanut butter to make a peanut butter yogurt treat that is sure to get some tail wags. These make a great treat for any time of the year, but they’d also make a special Valentine’s day treat for your pup.
Ingredients:
Trader Joe’s Goat Milk Kefir
Dog Safe Peanut Butter
Directions:
Get a small, freezer safe silicon mold. Fill the bottom half of the mold with dog safe peanut butter, then fill the mold the rest of the way with kefir. Freeze for a few hours until solid.
